Motion is Emotion 是 The Underscore 背后的核心理念。一些时候背景音乐中小的变化部分会实际的引起情感变化。The Underscore 提供了宽泛的音色（分离为低、中和高），冲击以及氛围渐变，可以给予你的音轨一些额外的元素。

此外，除了成倍的采样和 Loop，他们还为此做了一个定制的 Photosynthesis 引擎。音色现在允许你通过一个简单的键位切换控制每个采样的音高。
